Dear Kappa Rho Brother:
We are proud to announce that our chapter will be re-chartered by the international fraternity on March 8, 2008. As part of this celebration, the undergraduate brothers, the Archons of the Fraternity, and a contingent of brothers from nearby chapters will host our Norris Pig Dinner that evening beginning with a cocktails from 5:00 to 6:30 and followed by the Pig Dinner Buffet at 6:30. The location will be the beautiful Whispering Pines Facility on the W. Alton Jones Campus of URI. Presentation of the Charter will occur immediately after the dinner. This will be a fine event. We implore you to make every effort to attend - a show of good-will from the alumni will help to propel the new chapter forward. Dress will be "coat and tie" (it's an occasion). We also ask a donation of $60 per person to defray costs. Spouses are welcome at this historic event. RSVP is essential as space could be limited if we get a large response.
